CDL A Solo Driver - DFW Based

Bancroft & Sons Transportation is currently hiring experienced Solo CDL A drivers based out of the Dallas Fort Worth area. We are a family owned and operated carrier since 1969, focused on steady freight, structured routes, and long term stability.

We are currently hiring Solo drivers for:

• Dedicated one way freight lanes to Kansas, Illinois & a few other areas
• Solo USPS mail haul routes
• Additional dedicated solo runs as needed and some TEAM runs

These positions are based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Route Options

Drivers have the flexibility to:

• Stay moving on our Kansas and Illinois dedicated lanes
• Stay out 1 to 2 weeks with a couple of days home
• Work within structured, consistent freight lanes

We focus on predictable operations and steady miles.

Pay & Freight

• 60 CPM
• Consistent dedicated freight
• Weekly pay
• Solo positions only
• Late model equipment
• Professional dispatch support

Our freight mix allows drivers to stay active on established lanes!

Home Time

Depending on the lane, drivers can run steady dedicated routes or choose to stay out 1 to 2 weeks followed by a couple of days home. We prioritize consistency so drivers can plan their schedules with confidence.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• Minimum 1 year OTR experience or 2 years in Tractor/Trailer
• Clean MVR
• Professional work ethic
• Must live within reasonable distance of DFW
